We started round 12 with a population of 7,650 and ended it with 12,606.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Uni

Welcome back to Range Valley. It’s uni time!

We’ve split this batch of students into two households.

Violet Zeelan.

Marcel Savatier.

Zahra Lee.

And Shannon Masters make up the first household.

Maxim Van Herten.

Candice Masters.

Anneliese Parmeley.

Chase Masters.

And…

Damn. Lost my picture of Blaise Parmeley. I’m so bad at this.

It was foreshadowed in their intro pictures, but Candice and Maxim have three bolts! ACR does the rest. Besides, the two were much older than their teenaged other halves, so there’s no point in waiting.

Things move quick in Range Valley.

They’re not the only couple to pair up. Violet and Marcel have three bolts as well, and are immediately drawn to each other.

Poor Violet never got a first kiss, so she makes up for lost time.

Very quickly makes up for lost time.

Cousins Zahra and Shannon are both gay (Shannon experimented with boys in high school, but it wasn’t really for her), and are both struggling to meet women.

Anneliese meets Cillian McKinley, and adds him as a notch to her bedpost.

Before she moves on to Kyoshi Jones. Romance sims…

Chase meets Wren, part of the Townie Repopulation Program, and the two hit it off.

But Wren isn’t interested in going too fast. She’s an adult, and Chase is just a young adult, after all.

Not wanting to be left behind, Chase moves on to Opal Zeelan, who is always down for a good time.

And always looking to expand on her little black book.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Sun. Akagi

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 12,474.

Sunniva Akagi and her daughter, Mae Dallas, moved out of the Akagi household.

Sunniva is a family sim, and desperately wants to get married. She had held out hope for the father of her daughter, Jacob Dallas, but he has just married someone else. So Sunniva starts dating.

She shares a kiss with Leo, but there’s not much spark there. A single bolt. Still, it’s better than nothing.

At least until she meets Jamie Moon, another part of the Townie Repopulation Program. The two of them have three bolts, and hit it off immediately.

Jamie also helps to take care of Mae. He is a family sim, according to their date.

On a spur of the moment, Sunniva asks Jamie to move in. She can’t really afford a babysitter, and she needs to go to work. Jamie accepts.

Jamie is quite happy to be a stay at home dad. Sunniva earns a lot more than he could, and the two of them are quite happy with the arraingement.

Meanwhile, the two grow closer, and fall in love.

Jamie takes Mae to the cake for her birthday.

And takes her for her makeover. She’s a very cute little girl.

Jamie proposes. He adores Sunniva and Mae, and wants them to officially be a family. Sunniva accepts.

The couple quickly seal the deal, and Sunniva takes Jamie’s surname.

The two celebrate by trying for a baby.

The only issue is Mae’s surname. Mae is currently a Dallas, whilst her mother is a Moon. Sunniva doesn’t have much luck getting hold of Jacob. He wasn’t thrilled about her using his surname for the child in the first place, but she doesn’t want to change it behind his back. In the end, she decides to wait for now.

It’s Mae’s birthday, and Sunniva is showing. There is another little one on the way!

Mae is adorable! And has decided to change her surname to Dallas-Moon. She doesn’t want to cut out her father’s family, but there’s no denying that Jamie is her real dad.

Jamie is so excited for the arrival of their child. He adores Mae, and would love a huge family, with more just like her.

He doesn’t have long to wait!

A boy! He is named Jonas.

On Friday, Mae brings home her cousin, Archer Akagi!

There’s a little bit of family resemblence…

It’s soon Jonas’s birthday, and we lurk outside the window, breathing against the glass.

Jonas continues the trend of cute toddlers! With Mae looking on in approval.

We leave the Moon family there. They’ll be looking for a bigger home to support their expanding family.

Range Valley – Round 12 – R. Gaither

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 12,474.

Last round, Christy Zaidi and Ridley Gaither decided to move out of Voorhees house. Christy is very focussed on her career, and if she’s honest, doesn’t like Ridley being surrounded by that many women.

Christy is working her way towards being a Hall of Famer, and heads off to work.

And Ridley invites over Opal Zeelan, one of his previous roommates from Voorhees House.

For obvious reasons.

Ridley is a romance sim, and isn’t very good at being faithful.

Christy is more than comfortable to invite Katrien Shibata over. They were roomates at Voorhees house, but Katrien and Ridley are cousins, so she can be sure of nothing going on.

Plus, Christy is a little broody, but won’t even think about having children until she’s reached the top of her career.

Ridley and Cillian are BFFs, and the two are always talking on the phone or visiting each other.

And Ridley continues hooking up with other women. Bethany Bloom was another of his old housemates.

And the two fall in love.

“You’re going to want to be careful, is all I’m saying. Christy’s a sweet person, and a hard worker. You can’t string her along.”

“You’re not exactly faithful, Kat.”

“Yeah, and everybody knows it. I’m not pretending to be exclusive with anybody.”

As much as Ridley didn’t want to admit it, Katrien was probably right.

Ridley decided to focus on himself for a little while, rather than his string of girlfriends.

Range Valley – Round 12 – F. McKinley

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 12,220.

Felix McKinley has just graduated university, along with his long-time girlfriend.

Dagmar Masters has had a little makeover, which I think suits her very well.

Felix proposes to Dagmar, in the moonlight, in the rain. Very romantic. Of course, Dagmar accepts.

The two marry the next morning, and become Mr and Mrs McKinley.

Dagmar and Felix find jobs, as they plan to have a couple of kids, but can’t really afford to yet.

Jasmyn shows up. Dagmar and Jasmyn were adopted by Libby and Angela Masters, but the two have never got along. They got into quite a few fistfights as teenagers. But as adults, the two are trying to improve things.

And now that Dagmar is pregnant, she’s accepting the olive branch Jasmyn is offering. Plus, Jasmyn just had her own child, and has plenty of advice.

Pregnancy doesn’t stop these two. They’re always all over each other.

It’s time!

A boy! Rhys McKinley has his grandmother Louisa’s blonde hair!

Dagmar gains another skill point, and heads back to work. Also, you may be able to tell, Dagmar has no teeth. I think there’s something wrong with this skin, but I don’t know what to do about it. Sorry about the lack of teeth, Dagmar.

Ah. Whilst Dagmar is at work, Jasmyn turns up. She and Felix have two bolts, and should really know better. Poor Dagmar.

It’s Rhys’s birthday, and Felix’s dad, Jack, shows up to celebrate.

Rhys is very cute! I feel like there have been a lot of cute sims this round.

Despite his feelings towards Jasmyn, Felix is a good father, and adores playing with his little boy.

And really, how could you not love this face?

Dagmar’s back in her dungarees, which can only mean one thing. There’s another little McKinley on the way.

Range Valley – Round 12 – E. Ramirez

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 12,155.

Jeannie Masters and Eliseo Ramirez met at university, discovered they were three bolters, and fell in love.

They married as soon as they were able, and Jeannie took Eliseo’s surname.

Eliseo found work quickly. He is a family man at heart, and wants nothing more than to have a big family that he can properly support.

Jeannie also wants a family, but not quite as much as Eliseo. She also picks up a job to boost their savings a little.

Pop!

With Jeannie expecting, she takes maternity leave. And Eliseo apparently uses forks to eat grilled cheese sandwiches?

Jeannie also starts making friends with all the walkbys. She and Caoimhe Akagi trade pregnancy tips.

Jeannie goes into labour whilst Eliseo looks on with limited interest.

A girl! The newest little Ramirez is named Marisol.

The spark is still very apparent in the Ramirez household. Eliseo and Jeannie are so cute!

Marisol is a cute little thing, and I can’t wait to see her as a toddler!

Oh yeah, she’s cute as hell. And Eliseo is in love.

And it looks like little Marisol might be a big sister before too long.

Range Valley – Round 12 – M. Lee

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 12,025.

 

Holly Tang and Morgan Lee. The couple just moved out of Morgan’s brother’s place. Holly is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

How better to break in your first house than woohoo on the couch?

Or giving birth and ruining the new carpets?

It’s a boy! Duncan Lee has his great-grandmother’s red hair!

Morgan is thrilled with his little boy! The first grandson for his parents, as all of his brother’s children are girls.

Holly gets back into her career. She’s working in medicine at the moment, and doing pretty well.

Whoops! Holly pops again!

With a second baby on the way, Holly and Morgan decide to tie the knot.

And Morgan does the honours of taking Duncan to the cake.

Yikes. Lee genes are strong. Very strong.

Holly seems to love him, anyway. That face is the stuff of nightmares, though.

“Oh yeah, being a dad is great! No, just trying not to look him in the eyes, in case my very soul is torn asunder.”

At least Duncan looks a little better post-birthday. That’s the thing with Lee blood. They make horrendous toddlers, and kinda cute adults.

One last pat for luck!

And a second boy is born! This one is named Amias.

And Morgan makes the whole family ill by eating rotten sandwiches. Nice one, Morgan.

Oh man, this day just gets worse. Amias grows up, and his eyes don’t fit on his damn face.

Range Valley – Round 12 – C. Parrish

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,960.

Casey Parrish and Ivy Zeelan met at university, and hit it off immediately. There was some brief competition between Ivy and her sister Opal, but as far as Casey is concerned, as soon as he saw Ivy, the competition was over.

Ivy quickly finds a job. The couple spent nearly every penny they had buying this place.

Casey can’t find a job in his preferred career, so he puts all of those creativity points to good work.

He at least saves up enough to buy Ivy a ring.

Ivy soon pops upon arriving home from work.

Casey is still working as a painter from home, so he makes all of the family friends. Kennedy Landry is not too impressed by his neighbour chasing him down the road in his undies.

Ivy goes into labour with the couple’s first child!

It’s a boy! Harlow Parrish has his father’s eyes and hair, and his mother’s skintone.

And Casey is very taken with his new little boy.

It’s quite in the Parrish household, and it’s soon Harlow’s birthday.

Which Ivy observes from the hallway for some reason?

Aw! Harlow has his dad’s ears, and grows up with the same hair!

And Ivy immediately gets to work teaching the little one to walk.

We leave the Parrish family there, considering expanding their family as soon as they can afford to, and finally making the relationship official with marriage.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Fairfax

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,895.

Twins Jonah and Maia Kearney have moved into a very nice house, with their partners. Jonah is dating Tessa McKinley, and Maia is seeing Rowan Fairfax.

Jonah wastes no time. He proposes to Tessa, who gladly accepts.

Rowan quickly finds work, using his degree to his advantage. As much as he likes Jonah and Tessa, he’d rather live with Maia in their own home, and take care of her properly.

Tessa also finds work quite quickly, but she’s so playful that she’s not too interested in working on her skills for promotion. She’d rather play in the bathtub.

I love it when this happens. Tessa is suffering from morning sickness, and wondering if she is pregnant. I think the baby bump might be a bit of a hint, Tessa.

Jonah studies hard for his next promotion at work. He’s going to need the money once the baby is born.

Speaking of which…

Urgh, I really didn’t take many pictures for this round. No idea why. Anywho, Tessa gives birth to a baby girl, named Ellen, because I was watching Alien.

And Maia pops soon after Ellen’s birth!

Rowan does the honourable thing that he’s been wanting to do for nearly a week. Maia accepts.

The two get married straight away, to ensure that I don’t have to manually change their baby’s surname, like I had to for Ellen.

Speaking of Ellen! I missed her birthday, because I suck! She’s definitely got the Kearney look to her. I think she looks a lot like her cousin, Lane.

And we end there, with Maia pregnant, and Tessa and Jonah planning marriage.

Range Valley – Round 12 – J. Dallas

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,700.

Another with no starting picture, as we are joining another couple of fresh grads.

Well, there’s always their makeovers. Joshua is much cuter all grown up.

Charlotte looks a little more grown up, at least. Sorry, Charlotte.

The twins are also joined by Joshua’s girlfriend, Brittany Masters. Brittany is pretty high up in politics, and brings in a hefty paycheque to the family. Plus, she and Charlotte get on like a house on fire.

Which really helps, because Joshua is an aspiring novelist, and brings in a little every so often with his books.

The only issue is making friends for Brittany’s career. So Charlotte and Joshua nab every walkby that shows up. This one, Alfie Barclay, is another part of the Townie Repopulation Program, and Charlotte is quite taken with him.

I love ACR.

Charlotte falls in love. She never dated much as a teenager, as none of the available boys were to her liking, but she has fallen hard for Alfie.

Another of Charlotte’s walkby friends is Bethany Bloom. Charlotte and Bethany bond over taking turns being sick, and wondering if they are pregnant.

We receive confirmation.

“Aw, a baby! I’m so excited for you!”

As luck would have it, Alfie is pretty excited too.

Alfie moves in, and immediately rolls a want I don’t tend to see from fortune sims.

Alfie proposes. He rolled the want to get engaged to Charlotte!

A true Range Valley wedding. Takes place two minutes after the proposal, the bride is pregnant, and one of the couple is in their underwear.

Anyway, Mr and Mrs Barclay!

Alfie immediately gets a job in the Military, and thinks his driver is hot?

Alfie is begging to be fired, as he rubs the pregnant belly of Range Valley’s general, and talks baby names with her. Luckily, Amity Corrigan is a forgiving sort.

Thankfully, Alfie isn’t fired, because his baby is born that evening!

A girl! Sheena Barclay is born.

Sheena is a very loved little girl. Brittany wants a baby quite badly, but her career is her main concern. So for the time being, she gets all of her baby cuddles from little Sheena.

But babies don’t last long in Range Valley. They grow up so quickly!

Oh dear. Sheena promptly soils herself, to prevent her birthday spins, and Charlotte gets her first pop. Looks like there’s another little Barclay on the way.

We get there in the end, and Sheena grows up into a toddler. She looks a bit moody, but she’s a little ray of sunshine, really.

Brittany becomes Mayor! She’s made it! Brittany operates on a platform of greater services for adopted children, having been one herself.

Which means that Brittany can finally work on her other goal. That’s a baby pop!

“It’s probably about time we find our own place, Brit.”

“We were barely in this update, so I think you’re right.”

We leave the family here. Next round, the Dallas-Masters will be moving out, to give the Barclays more space to grow. Both Brittany and Charlotte are expecting.
