Range Valley – Round 12 – N. Masters

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,700.

No picture to start, as we are catching up with siblings Nawwaf and Brittany Masters, who graduated uni last round.

Unfortunately, they don’t get along very well any more. 😦

Surprisingly, Brittany and Joshua Dallas hit it off. I don’t think they ever met before, but they’ve got two bolts!

They get on very well indeed. Maybe they’re bonding over the fact that they’re both too broke to live without their sibling, as Joshua currently lives with his twin sister.

This is all in the space of a single afternoon, mind you. Range Valley moves fast.

In the end, Brittany didn’t last a single day living with Nawwaf. She peaces out to move in with Joshua.

“Thanks for landing me with all the bills, Brit.”

“Boo hoo. You’re a family sim, just meet someone.”

“Yeah, because it’s that easy when you’re related to half the town.”

Nawwaf works in gaming, as per his own choice. He’s still cute, though.

And those bodysuits must be extremely tight, because Katrien is missing her baby bump.

Nawwaf is more interested in his other co-worker, Harmony Weaver, who is part of the townie repopulation program.

“That’s your boob!”

“I know!”

They have three bolts.

And despite Nawwaf’s scoffing, Brittany was right. He is a family sim, he needs to just meet someone. Nawwaf invites Harmony to move in.

Harmony is a family sim, like Nawwaf. Freckles. 🙂

The two waste no time in becomming a nuisance to any passing neighbours.

Harmony is much lower in the gaming career than Nawwaf, but money is money. Also, she brings home Laurel Lee.

Harmony has had the want since she moved in, and Nawwaf has just rolled it, so Harmony makes the plunge.

Nawwaf accepts. The two want to marry immediately after, because they’re so cute.

At least they get dressed first, which is more than most residents do. Harmony takes Nawwaf’s surname.

Just in time, it appears!

We leave the newly married and expecting Masters family.

Range Valley – Round 12 – L. Masters

Welcome back to Ran

ge Valley, population 11,505.

We don’t have a starting round picture, but this is the household of Lainey Masters, her girlfriend Pearl Zeelan, and Pearl’s twin sister, Sage.

Pearl and Lainey are very much in love, and were teenaged sweethearts.

And Sage has met someone new. Callum Ivanovich is part of the townie repopulation effort, to get some fresh blood in the neighbourhood. He and Sage have three bolts.

Lainey rakes in the money in the Oceanography career. She’s so cute, too.

Just in time, as it appears the Masters-Zeelan household are expecting a child!

Lainey does the right thing, and puts a ring on it, with Sunniva Akagi acting as witness. The couple become Mrs and Mrs Masters.

They’re not the only ones taking the next steps of their relationship. Callum moves in, and immediately wants to get engaged. Family sims!

So Callum gets down on one knee, and Sage accepts.

It’s Range Valley, so a wedding immediately takes place. Sage takes on Callum’s name, and becomes Sage Ivanovich.

Just in time, it seems.

“I diagnose you as a pregnant.”

“Thanks, Linnea.”

“I’ll send you my bill.”

We soon get confirmation, and the twins spend their day following each other around the room, talking to and rubbing each other’s bellies.

It’s like a beacon. The quite pregnant Katrien wanders in to hang out with the twins.

Callum is very excited for the new addition. He’s going to be a good dad.

And he’s bringing in those hefty state school money.

One last hug for luck. Both women will be going into labour any time now.

Pearl is first. Sage is still pregnant, but her outfit doesn’t work with pregnancy. 😦

It’s a girl! Little Juno Masters is a blonde, like Lainey.

Only hours later, Sage follows suit.

It’s a boy! Hudson Ivanovich looks like his dad, so far.

Callum and Sage will probably have another or two, and start making plans to move out once the round is over.

It’s coming close. But first, birthdays.

First Juno, who definitely has the Zeelan nose, traced back to her grandmother, Mina.

And Hudson, who looks like he may also have that distinctive nose, but his dad’s eyes and mouth.

We leave the Masters-Ivanovich family here. The Ivanovich family will be moving out next round.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Slaughter

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,440.

Damian, Mary and Lily.

Last round, Mary helped to clear out some excess townies, and decided that motherhood would be pleasant, and so had twins.

The twins grew quickly, and it was soon their birthday.

Mary did the honours of taking them to the cake. Weldon was useful for work, but she didn’t really want him being involved with her children.

Lily is a cute kid.

But Damian is cuter, definitely.

With his work done, Mary takes Weldon out to meet her career reward. Lily acts as a witness.

Mary moves on to her next target, Tyson Baena.

Mary pops. She’s okay with this – she quite likes her children, and a third might also be okay.

“Mum’s hooked another one.”

“Yep. Wonder how long he’ll last?”

“Hm… Not very.”

Tyson moves in. There may have been some hypnosis involved, but that would be an awful thing to accuse somebody of.

Despite being heavily pregnant, Mary swings Damian around, playing a fun game the two call “Don’t Get Eaten.”

Maybe it sparks something? Mary gives birth to a boy she names Jason.

“I saw a documentary. There was a child named Jason. He was very fond of his mother.”

That wasn’t a documentary, Mary.

“It was about a summer camp.”

Definitely not a documentary.

“I could make it one.”

No, Mary.

The children are not at all bothered about the ghosts. It’s all they’ve ever known.

Mary returns from work, feeds Jason, and takes him to the cake, as her last act of the round.

What a lovely, normal family, with no bodies burried in the garden at all.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Jitmakusol

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,440.

Dylan and Holly Jitmakusol. Last round, Holly was waiting on the inheritance from her late parents, and had given birth to her son with Jacob Dallas.

Jacob and Holly still see each other quite a bit. It seems that they can’t keep away. They go on regular dates, to keep Holly’s aspiration up.

And Holly finally rolls the want to marry Jacob. He’s not got the fear (he’s afraid of marrying Katrien, Opal and Bethany Bloom, though).

Jacob accepts, and Dylan ruins the picture by picking his nose in the background. Thanks, kid.

Dylan’s birthday rolls around, and Holly does the honors, and takes him to the cake.

Dylan’s a cute kid! Looks a lot like a Dallas, to me.

With their son as a witness, Jacob and Holly get married. Holly and Dylan become Dallases.

And Holly’s inheritance finally comes through.

“I didn’t realise they’d left you anything! Is it enough to get a bigger place?”

“… It’s a little over a $1,000,000.”

“That’s a yes, then.”

The Dallas family move into a big house, where Dylan can have his own bedroom, instead of sleeping in the living room. Jacob and Dylan are bonding easily, and the little boy is very taken with his father.

To the point where Jacob helps Dylan with his schoolwork.

Holly tucks Dylan in. Jacob might not be the most faithful man on the planet (she’s not stupid enough to think that), but he does care for them. And that’s enough for Holly to be happy.

We leave the family here.

Range Valley – Round 12 – S. Akagi

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,310.

Leo, Caoimhe, Soren and Sunniva. Not pictured, Mae.

Last round, Sunniva and Mae moved out, to allow Caoimhe and Soren to expand their family.

Caoimhe is pregnant with their second child, but that won’t stop her from teaching Leo all his skills.

Leo is quite demanding when he wants to be. Still, it’s his birthday now, so he won’t be stuck in his crib for too long.

Oh man, Leo is a little cutie!

Leo vacated the crib just in time, as Caoimhe goes into labour, and gives birth to another little boy, who they name Archer.

Soren and Caoimhe sit down to breakfast together, and discuss their family size.

“Just one more, Soren?”

“I think two is enough, don’t you?”

“But don’t you want a daughter?”

“Kinda, but – ”

“Then just one more!”

As Soren’s main concern is finances, Caoimhe hops into the web, and finds a job. She has a degree, she’s a smart, hardworking woman, and she wants a much bigger family than their current income will allow.

Caoimhe snaps her neck taking Archer to the cake.

Archer certainly looks different to his brother. Not sure if he’s cute or not, but his family loves him.

Especially Leo. He absolutely adores his little brother, and they are always playing together.

Caoimhe pops!

Leo brings Lane Kearney home! They’re cousins (Leo’s mum, Caoimhe, and Lane’s dad, Cillian, are twins), and get on like a house on fire.

Soren is quickly on board with the idea of the new baby. He adores his family, and loves the idea of a massive family, he’s just concerned about the finances.

Poor Leo witnesses the birth of his next sibling. That’s mentally scarring.

It’s a girl! Little Niamh (Neev) is the baby girl Caoimhe bargained for.

“But wouldn’t it be nice for her to have a sister to balance things out?”

Archer grows up into a cute kid. He’s learned all of his skills, it’s just been chaos with another baby in the house!

And we end with Niamh’s birthday. Which she spoils by filling her diaper at the eleventh hour.

There we go. A quick change later, and Niamh seems to have the Akagi nose going on. Which I love!

The Akagis are so cute! Soren feels like they’re done, Caoimhe definitely does not.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Voorhees House

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 11,050.

Christy Zaidi, Ridley Gaither, Jacob Dallas, Katrien Shibata, Cillian McKinley. Katrien is pregnant, but we have quite a few candidates for the father – Jacob, Cillian, Kyoshi, or aliens.

Voorhees house is a house share for Romance and Pleasure sims who don’t want, or can’t afford, to live alone.

The household changes a bit. Christy is a fortune sim, and is a little sick of all the groping and partying in the house. She announces her intention to move out, and tells Ridley that he is welcome to join her, or not. Ridley decides to join her, and the pair find their own place.

That leaves some space open! Kyoshi Jones moves in, as does Jasmyn Masters.

She is shortly followed by Opal Zeelan. And Katrien gives birth at the housewarming party. Last chance to place your bets!

It’s a boy! Konx Shibata is the result of Katrien’s abduction. Katrien considers moving out, but really, she doesn’t want to. She enjoys the atmosphere and fun of Voorhees House.

For some reason, Opal decides to get aquainted with Knox. She is not a natural.

“Eesh, these things aren’t fun at all.”

The new girls quickly make friends with their new roommates. Jasmyn and Jacob hit it off, as do Opal and Cillian.

Very well.

Kyoshi also invites one of his girlfriends to move in. Bethany Bloom has been on the scene for a little while, but she’s pretty shy for a romance sim.

Jasmyn gets to know Jacob Dallas a bit more, again.

It’s soon Knox’s birthday!

Knox is adorable! Bethany is much better with kids than any of the rest of the household, and enjoys playing with the little boy.

Whoopsy! Looks like Opal Zeelan hasn’t been too careful with her various boyfriends. This one will be either Jacob’s, Cillian’s, Kyoshi’s, or Ethan Gaither’s.

And she’s not the only one. Jasmyn has the same potential fathers, minus Ethan Gaither.

Eli Kane returns home with someone as a co-worker, and makes a beeline for Knox. Poor little thing doesn’t get an awful lot of attention in this household.

Not that Katrien is a bad mother. She adores her little boy, she’s just not ready to settle down properly.

Jasmyn and Opal have bonded quite a bit over their pregnancies. They’re sharing tips and tricks, and joking about whether their children might have the same father. Romance sims…

And it’s time!

It’s a boy! Malcolm Zeelan sports some red hair, which he most definitely didn’t get from his mother’s side of the family.

Opal hands Malcolm over to his father. Cillian cuddles the baby, and can’t help thinking about Lane, his son with Ruby, and wonders if he should let her know that Lane now has a half-brother.

Jasmyn makes me laugh. She stands and pats her belly a lot, and hasn’t yet rolled a fear about her impending baby.

Maybe it was a good luck rub? Jasmy goes into labour.

“Please not mine, please not mine, please not mine!”

Cillian, chill.

Jasmyn gives birth to a girl! She names her Catalina. Catalina is Jacob’s daughter, and third child (Jacob has already fathered Dylan by Holly Jitmakusol and Mae by Sunniva Akagi).

Jacob’s main lady is usually Katrien, who recognises these symptoms. Could Jacob have a fourth kid on the way?

Opal and Jasmyn’s babies aren’t even a day apart, so a joint birthday party is thrown.

First Malcolm, then Catalina.

Malcolm looks cute as! Opal has kept Malcolm’s surname as Zeelan, not too worried about Cillian’s lack of interest in being his dad.

Catalina looks like a Dallas! But she remains Catalina Masters. Jasmyn was an adopted child, and she is not giving up the surname of the women who adopted and loved her for some guy.

“Katrien! What happened?”

“I told Knox’s other mum that he’s growing up tomorrow.”

Knox remains as cute as ever! And we can see Bethany bonding with Malcolm in the background. We leave the household here, with Katrien debating her options. Knox is old enough to be aware that his home life is weird, after all.

Also, note who is no longer in the picture…

As a side note, this house is ruled by ACR. I had no control over the pairings or births whatsoever.

Range Valley – Round 12 – Landry

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 10,985.

Aubrey, Celeste and Kennedy. There’s also a bun in Celeste’s oven.

Good day at school?

“No! My mum’s going to have her baby tonight!”

He’s not wrong. Celeste goes into labour.

Celeste and Kennedy welcome a girl! They name her Elsie.

Sorry for the poor picture, but it all kicked off. Celeste put Elsie down on the floor, and dropped dead. Luckily, Kennedy had been there to witness the birth, and was able to plead for Celeste’s life.

He was successful, thankfully!

Celeste takes care of her immediate needs, and takes the time to hold her baby. The thought of dying before she had ever held her child properly terrified her.

Aubrey took it all in stride, and wrote his homework piece about his mother’s brush with death.

Kennedy and Celeste have also found themselves appreciating each other much more than they had before.

Aubrey continues to paint. Whenever he can, he’s at the easel, and I think he’s going to grow up into a proper little artist.

Speaking of growing up! It’s Aubrey’s birthday! He’s still very cute, and has rolled knowledge.

His birthday is shortly followed by Elsie’s!

Elsie is beautiful! She has her dad’s freckles, and her mother’s lovely dark hair.

And we leave the Landry family with Aubrey making friends with Coral Zeelan. There’s a little chemistry there, too.

Range Valley – Round 12 – B. Lee

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 10,920.

Kim, Ben, Keturah and Persis.

Last round, Kim and Ben were trying for a third baby, and Kim pops early in the round.

The couple already have two daughters, who are the best of friends.

Kim and Ben are so cute together! They are very much in love, and enjoying the little extra space now that Morgan and Holly have found their own place.

It’s birthday time for Keturah!

Keturah is very cute, and looks a lot like her mother, in my opinion. She’s a popularity sim.

Kim’s bump looks so small, but she is about ready to burst!

See? It’s a third girl! Little Soraya is born.

Ben is thrilled with the newest addition to the family. The Lees feel like they are done having children now. They adore their daughters, but three kids are plenty.

Persis brings Naomi home from school! I adore Naomi (I’m sure I’ve not mentioned that for two or three chapters).

Keturah brings Alicia Ramirez home. Alicia is coming home with a ton of people, and Keturah is eager to make a new friend.

And Alicia sticks around for Soraya’s birthday party!

Oh my gosh! Soraya is so cute! She is absolutely adorable!

We round off the week with Keturah giving Persis a quick spin into teenagehood.

Persis is interesting looking, and a little awkward, I have to say. She is a Pleasure sim, so she will hopefully get a bit less awkward as she grows up.

And we end the week there, with the now complete Lee family.

Range Valley – Round 12 – D. Gaither

Welcome to Range Valley, population 10,725.

Hana and Kyoshi Jones, Daisy and Heather Gaither.

It’s an awkward picture now.snapshot_29aea5e8_8a11a260.jpg

First thing Monday morning, before any of the rest of the family woke up, Kyoshi moved out. He’s not a family man, he loves Daisy, but not in a marriage and kids kind of way.

Poor Daisy wakes up in the morning to an email from Kyoshi with very few details. Just that he has left, will not be coming back, and that if Daisy doesn’t want to raise Hana, she can give the girl to someone else who will.

Poor Heather is very upset over the break up of her family.

But you can’t miss what you never really had, so Hana is still a happy little girl. As far as Daisy is concerned, Hana is her little girl, and giving her away is unthinkable.

Hana grows up into a very cute little girl! Despite the difficult time her family has recently had, Hana is still very happy, and isn’t too concerned.

Heather and Hana are the cutest sisters!

Heather ages up into a very pretty young lady. She is a family sim. Her father sneaking out in the night, and her odd, cobbled together family has taught Heather what is important in a family, and it’s not genetics.

Speaking of family, Daisy invites over Ridley, her little brother. Ridley has been living at Voorhees House, the local house share for romance sims.

“All I’m saying is that you’re still young, you can still live your life!”

“And neglect my girls?”

“No, not neglect them. Heather and Hana don’t expect you to be single forever.”

Daisy thought it over, as she helped Hana out with her homework.

“Would you be upset if I started dating again?”

“Ew, mum! I don’t mind, but I don’t want to hear about it.”

“Good shout.”

With her conscience cleared up, Daisy starts dating Miles Youngblood. He doesn’t look great with the current haircut, but he’s a sweetheart.

As is typical in Range Valley, things move quickly.

And of course, Heather and Hana aren’t too fussed. They’re happy that their mum is happy, and more concerned with piano practice.

Daisy has her suspicions of what may have happened.

So Daisy asks Miles to move in, and breaks the possible news.

Miles accepts, and gets a little makeover. I can’t tell if he is cute or not, but Daisy is happy.

Just in time, too, as they get confirmation that Daisy is definitely pregnant.

And unlike Kyoshi, Miles is thrilled, and gets down on one knee. He is a fortune sim, but still wanted to marry Daisy.

So why wait? Daisy and Miles marry, and Daisy takes the Youngblood name.

Daisy phones her parents to give them the news (not sure where her bump has gone?). snapshot_29aea5e8_2a88f90e.jpg

Daisy goes into labour, early in the morning.

A girl! So far, she looks a lot like her mother. She is named Molly.

Daisy hands off Molly to her father.

To give birth to Dashiell, who looks more like his father.

And we’ll have one last picture of Hana, because I love her!

Range Valley – Round 12 – Riley

Welcome back to Range Valley, population 10,465.

Ruby Kearney, Kitty and Levi Riley.

Last round, Kitty and Levi married. Ruby is pregnant by Cillian McKinley, and Kitty is expecting a baby with her husband, too.

Despite the pair vowing not to see each other again, Ruby and Cillian are seeing each other again.

It’s convenient, though, as Cillian can now witness the birth of his child.

It’s a boy! Ruby names him Lane, and decides not to give him Cillian’s surname. I thought you were naming him Howard?

“I just said that to mum to wind her up.”

Ah, good shout.

Cillian has one thing on his mind, though. Lane is gently placed on the floor, and Cillian and Ruby head indoors.

Even so, Cillian stays the night, and in the morning, bonds with his son.

The morning’s bonding is interrupted by Kitty going into labour.

A girl! Little Noelle Riley is the first child born to Kitty and Levi. I’ve also just realised how weird Noelle and Lane’s family relationship is. Noelle’s mother is Kitty, who’s half sister is Poppy, who’s son is Cillian McKinley, who’s son is Lane. So… Cillian is Noelle’s half cousin, making Lane her half cousin once removed, but also her regular cousin? Weird.

Kitty heads straight back to work, and I guess her mind wasn’t on it, or something, because she gets demoted immediately. Pretty sure that’s illegal, but okay.

The weird aging comes into play again. Despite the fact that Lane was born before midnight, and Noelle about seven hours later, they are aging up on the same day.

Lane ages up, and looks super, super cute!

Noelle’s pretty cute, too. Both of them look very much like Kearneys, though.

And it looks like someone attended the party… Ruby and Cillian are just terrible for each other.

Kitty looks irritated, but I think it’s the pregnancy hormones. Yep, she and Levi decided to expand their family a little.

Despite being pregnant, Kitty is very dedicated to the children in her family. She loves Lane dearly, and is very happy that Noelle has a little playmate in the house.

Kitty gives birth in the least accessible area of the house.

The first is a baby boy, named Douglas.

Yep, first. Douglas is handed off to his father.

And the second is a girl, named Evelyn.

With the abundance of small children in the house, it is a relief that the toddlers are aging up.

Lane’s up first, and he is super cute!

Noelle isn’t quite as cute, but there’s nothing wrong with her either.

Forgive the lack of pictures, but it’s been chaos. Absolute chaos. It’s time to age up the twins.

First is Evelyn, who is super cute!

And then Douglas. Well. Welcome to another edition of “Avenie regrets starting Range Valley with an alien”.

It’s been busy, and crowded, and Ruby thinks it’s time for her and Lane to move out, and give the Riley family a bit of space.
