Welcome back to Range Valley, population 7,050.
LTR, BTF: Joshua, Aimee, Forest, Emily, Jacob, Charlotte, Pippa, Elizabeth, Elodie.
When we last left the Dallas family, Emily and Forest had decided not to have any more children, and Jacob had left for university. Which he has since graduated.
Poor Aimee. Charlotte follows her around slapping and shoving her. No idea why they hate each other so much, but they do.
Luckily, some people are nicer to Aimee. Blaise Parmeley and Aimee hit it off pretty well. Even if he did follow her sister home.
That’s the first kiss Aimee has been wishing for since the day she aged up. Yay!
And the fighting has started. I really have no idea what Charlotte’s problem is, but she’s graduated to attacking poor Aimee.
Aimee calls time, and applies for university. She was never that interested in going, but she wants out of the house, and she wants out sooner rather than later.
It’s Pippa’s birthday next!
Oh wow! Pip is a real cutie! She is a Family sim with the LTW of having 6 grandchildren.
The flirting in the Dallas home continues. Joshua makes himself acquainted with Rosalind Karimi, who is very charmed.
Whereas Charlotte has a much harder time. She doesn’t seem to get on with anybody. Here she is being mean to Riordan Parmeley.
Emily finally reaches the top of the Business career! To be fair, she gave birth to seven children, so it’s impressive she made it at all.
But disaster strikes. Poor Elizabeth gets to witness her father’s passing.
Forest Philips was a townie who first married May Bellamy, and had two children with her, Sadie Bellamy and Maisie Kane. He and May divorced, and he then married Emily Dallas, and had seven children with her, Jacob, Aimee, Charlotte, Jacob, Philippa, Elizabeth and Elodie. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Kester and Roman Bellamy, and Stellan and Juliet Kane.
Unsurprisingly, everybody’s aspiration has tanked, and a headmaster visit is hastily arranged, since most of the family have wants around private school.
“My dad died. Can we join your school, or we’ll all be even sadder than we already are.”
We get in.
It certainly helps. Charlotte has been going nuts.
Pip meets Ruth, and the two get on quite well, even if Ruth is a little shy about flirting on the front lawn.
Not too shy to grant Pip her first kiss, though. Cute couple.
Emily ages up. There’s no fanfare, and she’s not thrilled about it. She hadn’t pictured old age as a widow, and now here she is.
We all know that once birthdays start, they just carry on. So Elodie also ages up! She is a family sim, with the LTW of a Golden Anniversary.
And Elizabeth is a Popularity sim with the LTW of topping Show Business.
And as is the custom in Range Valley, Elizabeth spends her first full day as a teenager scoping out the local talent. She makes a beeline for Zahra Lee, who is interested, for now.
“So, as a family sim, you’ll give me lots of grandchildren, right?”
“It’s a bit early for that, mum. Maybe ask Jacob?”
“He’s a romance sim, sweetheart. Although, ACR…”
Charlotte and Joshua make their calls to apply to RVU, and after one last family photo, head out of the door.
It’ll be a quiet household next round, but hopefully, the Dallas family will be able to move on without Forest.
